About Us

Evenwood Industries is the new name for an established business based in the North East of England. Originally established in 1898, the business moved to its current site in the 1960's, expanding in the 1980's and 1990's as the business grew.In 2006 the business came under the new ownership of Stewart Maudsley and Duncan McDonald.

Stewart was formerly the Managing Director of the plant in the 1990's, whilst Duncan has a strong background in manufacturing, including the leading automotive component supplier 'Textron'.

The business specialises in the manufacture of laser cut and formed blanks, steel components and fabrications up to 5 tonnes to a variety of manufacturing sectors. Typical batch sizes range from 1-100.

The plant operates from a 6 acre site with over 100,000 sq ft (10,000 sq m) of manufacturing space, and 10,000 sq ft of office space.
